 Prince Charles Becomes Patron

On Tuesday July 15th 2008, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales marked his new role as Patron of Teach First with a high-profile visit to Bethnal Green Technology College (BGTC). The event was attended by over 100 guests, including many of Teach First's most senior business supporters, education partners and Trustees, along with staff, teachers and Ambassadors.
HRH was welcomed by local dignitaries and school representatives, before meeting the nine Teach First teachers at BGTC – five participants in their first year of teaching, and four Ambassadors - who have stayed on in the school after completing their two-year training programme and played a critical role in moving it out of special measures. | Full Article |
